Commissioning artwork of loved ones wether they are people or pets is a time honored tradition.  An artistic record that will be enjoyed for generations, a good portrait captures the spirit and personality of the subject.   

 

Julia's commissioned works are not mearly copied photographs.  It is a process that, if possible, requires several studies of the subject live in studio.  It is important that the artist and the subject get to know each other.  Where this is not possible as much information about the subject is very helpful.
